The apathy election? Ontario sees lowest voter turnout in its history, early data suggests

Thursday's vote may have seen the lowest turnout since Confederation. With some final polls still being counted, early data from Elections Ontario suggests about 43.03 per cent of eligible voters cast a ballot — or about 4.6 million of the province's 10.7 million potential electors.
