Foreign Secretary Liz Truss will become Britain's third female prime minister, after Margaret Thatcher (1979 to 1990) and Theresa May (2016 to 2019). Born in Oxford in 1975, Truss is the daughter of a math prof and a nurse who took her on anti-Thatcher protests as a child.
