A man accused of robbing a shopper on Christmas Eve in the South Loop has died after he was shot by the shopper, who was a concealed carry permit holder, police said.
The identity of the dead man, 34, has not been released by the Cook County medical examiner’s office.
He was shot about 6:15 p.m....
